Keysong

Privacy

Keysong (formerly Write Notes) collects nothing. Not your name, not your email, not what you play, not how often you open it.

What the app does on your computer

It runs entirely on your Mac (or in your browser, for the downloadable version). It does not connect to the internet and works with Wi-Fi off.
There is no account and no sign-in.
When you choose Save sound or Save MIDI, the file is written only to the place you pick in the Save dialog. Nothing is sent anywhere.
It has no analytics, no tracking, no ads, and no third-party code that phones home.
It does not use the microphone or camera.

Where you get it

The Mac app is free on the Mac App Store (Mac computers). Apple handles that download under Apple's privacy policy; we receive no personal details from Apple.

If you get it on Gumroad, Gumroad handles that page under its own privacy policy. We see the email Gumroad gives us so we can send updates about this product, and nothing else.

The preview on this website plays in the browser on a computer, iPhone, or iPad. That is not the Mac App Store app.

This website

analogarcade.net is a static site. It sets no account cookies and has no login. The preview page plays a song in your browser and sends nothing back.
